About

My life has long revolved around food.  My Dad immigrated to Washington state at the age of 10 from China and found himself helping in the family restaurant business in the small town of Ellensburg, WA.  Soon his family moved to Yakima, WA and continued their restaurant business there.  My Dad and Mom owned 3 different restaurants from before I was born until after I graduated college.  I was constantly at the restaurants eating, watching my Dad in the kitchen, washing dishes, clearing tables and serving patrons.  As much I love food, the restaurant business is a tough one and I decided upon a more predictable career that might not be a sexy and glamorous as the food industry is these days.

I am an active person who has a career, a wonderful husband, a life full of friends and a love for all things food.  My heart also longs for a baby, so this is my journey of sharing my story, my experiences, learning things from my readers and hoping that we’ll have the baby (babies) we are so ready for.  We have been on the road to conceiving for a year and a half and are about to embark on IVF.  Along my journey I’ll be eating, cooking and traveling, because you have to enjoy the ride.

Hubby and I reside in Seattle, WA with our two fur babies, Maya and Bode.
